Stella Polaris

Stella Polaris or only Polaris is commonly known as North Star, Northern Star or Pole Star, also Lodestar, sometimes Guiding star. In the Middle Ages it was called "Stella Nautica" and "Stella Maris". The Vikings called it «Leiðarstjarna», the star that guided the sailors safely home. In Norwegian we call it "Nordstjernen". It is the brightest star in the constellation Ursa Minor.

November 23rd, 2014: Here are the first kittens ever from NO*Ultvedtkatten's cattery, and Stella's first kittens. They are indeed wonderful! In the pictures they are 5 1/2 weeks. Here's the pedigree. It's hard to tell their EMS-code only rom the pictures, but I think it's like this:

NO*Ultvedtkatten's Helle Høygir, NFO f(s)09 (21?) - female

NO*Ultvedtkatten's Sally Carrera, NFO n(s) 03 24 - female

So great to meet Stella's family and great to be at Adelkatten.

Early in June Vigdis took her to Skogkattmesterskapet where she was awarded "Skogens prinsesse" / "The Princess of the Forest" and she also had the best pattern total. One week later she attended Norak's show. Here are two pictures from the events.
